Dr. Prashant Vilas Bhangui has expertise in Surgical Gastroenterology and Liver Transplant from two reputed institutions in India, Jeevan Jyoti Hospital and Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi. He successfully completed the Master’s Program in Gastrointestinal Surgery and Liver Transplantation at the Henri Bismuth Institute of Liver and Gallbladder in France. He then participated in the fellowship program at the Paul Brosse Hospital for Hepatobiliary Surgery in Paris. Dr. Prashant has also been awarded Merck KGaA International Education Scholarship for Clinical Research and holds a European Diploma in Hepatobiliary Surgery and Pancreatic Cancer.

Hepatocellular carcinoma, liver metastases, colon-to-liver metastasis, and living donor liver transplantation are among the special research interests of Dr. Prashant. He has published several articles on these topics in prestigious international journals. He is also a reviewer for the International Journal of Surgery and the Journal of Liver Transplant Surgery.

Dr. Prashant’s main areas of study include molecular markers and novel therapies for hepatocellular carcinoma, liver metastases and colon-to-liver metastasis.
